When applying for a job in the Canadian Forces is very difficult / rare to get selected for basic training?
Because I was watching a show called "Basic Up" and they say they will select five young Canadians the recruiting office, and they will travel to basic training in Quebec. Does this mean that only 5 billion get selected? Do they only select people with the highest notes? Is it very rare and hard to get selected, then go to basic training in Quebec? Thank you!
Haha, no. They picked 5 to follow around with cameras. Each member of the Canadian Forces through basic training. Several thousand per year, actually. The majority of the staff of the regular pass CFLRS by Saint John of Quebec, however, some go through MR Borden, ON, and some naval officers go through in Esquimalt, British Columbia. Reservists do their basic training at local level.
